Helpppp. How to make Month view display one week at a time

Hello everyone
I love the Month view because events at the same time on the same day do not site on top of each other – they align themselves neatly and vertically.
However, a whole month is a lot to look at.
When using the Week view, events at the same time just sit physically on top of each other, so that only one is readable.
So if anyone can suggest a way to filter the Month view to show a one week at a time OR how to make the weekly view NOT stack items on top of each other, that would be very gratefully appreciated.
