[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Slide – Show widget display bug

  • Hi, do you speak German? No matter, I try it in English.

    The Slidshow widget displays the pictures always in a wrong way. I set the Option to “Stretch image: false” But the wdget seems to use “Stretch image:true”. It doesn’t matter if I try another Option, the Slideshow widget always use “Stretch image:true”.

    Please, can you help me to fix my display problem. It looks so horrible if the Images are not displayed with its real resolution (proportion).

    I thoght an update will fix that problem, but I am wayting for 3-4 updates now, and I have still that resolution problem.

    i have the same problem with widget. nextgen gallery and nextgen slideshow widget both made the picture wrong stretch. check this on https://www.judatenis.com

    These are the description for the slideshow option “overstretch”

    overstretch (false): Sets how to stretch images/movies to make them fit the display. The default stretches to fit the display. Set this to true to stretch them proportionally to fill the display, fit to stretch them disproportionally and none to keep original dimensions.

    is it possible to describe me in which menu what is necessary to set up to have slideshow WIDGET in good format. normal slideshow is ok.

    my images are bigger than the slideshow so i want them to ‘shrink’ so they can be seen inside the slideshow, but also to stay in proportion.

    What would the option be for that?

    I have the same problem.
    Set “true” in “option-slideshow” would work for slideshow in content area, but not work in widget area.
    Why?

    So you can see that with the same settings of “overstretch:false”, the picture in widget and the content are really DIFFERENT.

    How to fix the problem? Sorry i am just testing my web, not published yet.

    I have just taken the latest NextGen upgrade and I can’t get slide show to work any more. The gallery does but not the slide show. Puts up a blank black window.

    Same problem here like NickOg… and plus I get a 500 error on the edit area of an article, when i try to click to NextGen.desc button to insert a gallery… has something change on the last update?

    I fixed it by uninstalling NextGen, deleting the plug-in directory, re-installing and importing the images from the original folder.

    Not sure why the problem occurred on each browser I tried but, oddly,not on a copy of the site to a new domain.

    Looks like I have two logins – the problem was posted as NickOg – will clean up.

    I CANNOT delete the gallery and install it again. It’s not the way how it should be. There must be a fix to this…

    Of course – enrico. For me, having just started, it was a quick work round. But given uninstall doesn’t remove the photo directory and there is a handy import control, it at least presented a work round that got me up and running again.

    Yes, a fix is required….

    The problem is the author released itas an update for the 2.6 version. TOday I upgraded to the WP 2.6, and it all went fluent…except for nggallery: remained the same even after this! Now this is really strange, can’t figure out where and what to change in the code.
