    Hey,

    I’m having a payment issue.

I set up membership level based on recurruring payment.

How can I get a link to the payments? I’d like to paste it to my BUY BUTTONS.

I wanted to use the PayPal button creation option, but it’s just not working well. After I subscribed to the payment, there was no desired redirection nor member was added to my site.

I’m looking forward to hearing from you guys,

    Thanks

Hi, can you enable Debug Mode. Carry out another transaction and then check the log files. Report back with your findings.

You might also like to read the following instructions.

    Thank you

    Hey,

I just followed your instruction and the log file is empty.

It looks like the PayPal wasn’t connect with the plugin. Of course I generated, pasted and saved the code, but maby some other settings should be changed in the PayPal button or simply maby there’s a way to extract the PayPal button url from the shortcode without touch the PayPal at all?

    Thank you.

P.S. I’ve been using the plugin successfully for a while, but only the free membership option.

How did you create the PayPal buttons? Did you create them in your PayPal account or did you create them using this plugin?

i was not able to extract the button url from the shortcode/button created inside the plugin (my question number 1 is how to get the button url, because the plugin gives you only a shortcode and i need an url to paste it on my salespage),

so i created the pp button inside the paypal account (but like i mentioned earlier it’s not working).

    Hi,

Of course I did (“so I created the pp button inside the paypal account (but like I mentioned earlier it’s not working)”.

Maby you know what I could do wrong in PayPal settings? I did everything according to the guide, but maby there’s sth more?

You might not be able to extract the URL from the above instructions. The plugin developers will investigate further your request.

    Thank you

It is better to use the following option to create your PayPal subscription button:
    https://simple-membership-plugin.com/create-paypal-subscription-button-inside-the-simple-membership-plugin/

That one allows us to easily see what you have done. We can’t log into your PayPal account so if you made a mistake in there, we can’t check it.

Also, make sure you have the IPN feature enabled. Without that option enabled in your PayPal account, paypal won’t send any notification to the plugin:

    Hi,

I contacted PayPal and they recommended “ou need just to modify a little bit your PayPal button by adding a new variable as hidden field. The variable name is “return” and it must contain the URL where you want to redirect your buyers. You can use a field like this:

    <input type=”hidden” name=”return” value=”https://www.mywebsite.com/thankyou.php&#8221;; />”

I was trying to use the 1st method before, but it generates only the shortcode and I need the button url so I could paste it to my sales page in different places and forms.

    How can I do that?

Hi, the developers are currently working on the plugin that is why you can’t find the plugin in the repository or they have not replied.

    Kind regards

You can specify that in our plugin when you configure the PayPal buy now or subscription button in the payments menu.

The following field lets you specify a return URL where the:

    Return URL

If you are creating the PayPal button inside PayPal (not our plugin) then there is nothing we can do in terms of the return URL because you need to handle that inside your PayPal button code. So inside your PayPal button code, copy and paste that code that PayPal support told you to.

We can ONLY help you with the button if you are creating it INSIDE OUR plugin.

I set up the same return url inside the both – PayPal and plugin button, but the redirection is not an issue anymore.

Right after the payment is complete, the user should get an email to complete the registration, but I haven’t got any so something is not working. I’m using the button url taken from the PayPal button, and the code from the plugin is pasted to the variables.

    1. How can we fix this so I could use the plugin?
    2. Again: how can I extract the payment url from the shortcode of the button?
