• Hi there,

I am struggling to get a url link to work despite countless times of trying to put it in via my image editor. Each time I test it, it opens a white box showing a film reel across the top and no website!

I have also tried putting custom url in as NONE and then trying to put it in via the hyperlink function on visual editor. Still it isn’t working.

Can anyone shed some light please?

    Many thanks,
    Suzanne

Here is the code for one of the images I am trying to set up the URL link for. Can you spot any issues with it which may be causing the link not to work?

Thanks Andrew. When you say it’s working for you, how do you know? Where and how did you test it because it’s still not working on my browser?

Thanks for trying to help me.

I looked at the Constructionline and Starlight logos on the Homepage, and they had the links that you said you wanted.

That’s strange. It is still not working for me on either chrome or explorer and I’ve tried on my phone and on 2 different PCs.

Oh, it might be because I right clicked to open in a new tab. I see your issue. Do you want the links to open in a popup?

    Yes please!

Looks like the developer of your theme needs to step in for this. Browsers will not allow you to do this by default because it’s essentially stealing a website and putting it on your site. The developer will need to implement a way to take the website with authorisation.

Thank you very much for your advice Andrew. I will get in touch with them and hope they can fix it ??
