• Hey Jacob,
Yesterday i had to restore my database to one from about a month back. I reverted to the version of this plugin that i had back then and set apache as owner to the files. I then upgraded to the latest version through the gui. I reset the viewcounts and that worked.

I noticed that now all of the images say uploads/wppa/thumbs/41370.jpg?ver=7 and views are not registering.

I believe before it had something like ?436382(some random number) at the end and thats how it was registering views. Not is just has ver=.

    IV-9 is checked.
Any advice on where to start looking?

    Thanks

The ver=7 means you have six times done an action that might have changed anything that may require the visitors webbrowser needs to reload the thumbnail image even when it has it already in the browser cache. It has nothing to do with viewcount.

The photo viewcount is only incremented when a fullsize (display size) of the photo is viewed, the album viewcount when the thumbnail displayed has been showed.
BUT: it increments the counters only once per session. You must wait an hour before your viewing the photo again increaments the counter again.
