Fatal error 30 sec

  • I’m having some issues trying to install WordPress itself. I already downloaded the server and I keep getting this message when I try to go past https://localhost/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php?step=2

    The message is as follows:

    Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-includes\wp-db.php on line 1811

    I can’t find any solution to be able to fix this. Please help

    When you specify your database settings, do not use localhost for the database host. Use 127.0.0.1 instead. You may also need to specify a port (usually 3306), but that depends on your XAMPP configuration.
