Featured image & Social Icons

    1. When I am sharing my blog post on Facebook the featured post does not come up however it shows all the other images in the blog post. This started happening from the 11th of June 16. Would you possible know why this happens?

    2.I have got social media icons at the bottom of each blog post. The question is how can I get these to show the statistics i.e how many times it has been shared on each social media ie facebook, twitter etc

  • Hello.

    You can use a plugin such as this one to add the necessary opengraph tags so Facebook can pull the proper image when sharing.

    #2 is only doable by completely disabling the theme’s social sharing mechanism and replacing it with a social sharing plugin that already has this functionality built in.
