• Hi! I’m having problems to find something similar with what I need, maybe someone can help me here.

The first page of my blog has 10 posts, and need to be in masonry style (with 3 columns and the posts fit as they are being published)
However , the first column must be of the same width as the other two together. That is, the first column would have width 50% and the others 25% each.

My idea is that the first and the fifth post stay in the first column and stylize CSS diferent of the other columns.

I had done this only with CSS, but my posts dont fit like the masonry JS. And if I use the JS, the CSS that I used doesn’t
work. Any idea how can I hav this done?

  • Hi Paula.

To be sure I understand you correctly, you want ta layout similar to this one: oreilly.com/topics/data?

This requires some PHP (changing the template file for your homepage) and some CSS.

Please tell me what theme you are using so I can look at prepping a template for you.

    Cheers!
