Remove generator meta tag

How I can remove generator meta tag inserted by Download Manager plugin, but w/o commenting or deleting add_action() line in file
/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/libs/class.Apply.php<meta name="generator" content="WordPress Download Manager 2.8.97">Thank you
