    Hi,

Since updating to WooCommerce 2.6 my sites WooCommerce Product Search box reports no matching results even when valid search string are entered.

    I am using the following:

WooCommerce Product Search by itthinx version 1.4.3
    Canvas theme 5.10.0

In addition to this I am unable to search for products from within the WooCommerce Products section or filter the product list at all by category, type, date etc. on the admin page.

    My site is https://www_littletigergifts_co_uk

I have had a quick scan through and can’t find any other topics detailing the same issue.

  • I’m having the same issue with the same plug-in. Hoping to have a resolution to this ASAP. Thx. :)( https://www.impactministries.com )

Disabling the plug-in fixes the search from with WooCommerce admin page and also the filtering. Obviously the search box gets removed after disabling though ??

Try to get in contact with the plugin author about this.

it seems this is an issue with the latest WooCommerce update and not the plug-in. Since updating WooCommerce, part of the error received is “wp_woocommerce_termmeta’ doesn’t exist. Obviously, if this is missing from the database, it makes sense the search function wouldn’t work. How would I go about adding this back in?

This table is not needed any more. WP 4.4 introduced it’s own termmeta table which is now used instead.

I am having the same problem, contacted their support and they said it is working fine for them and it must be a problem on my end. I may just write something myself instead and be out the $$ if they are not going to fix it, probably not worth trying to rewrite their code.

I have contacted WooThemes and opened up a support ticket. I should have checked the guidelines on this forum as it states to do that if the plug-in is a premium one.

Personally, I am not able to code myself but as I have paid good money for this plug-in I will await the response from WooThemes. I am running an up to date version of Canvas which is also a WooThemes product so I was hoping Canvas, WooCommerce and WooCommerce search would all play together quite happily.

I have a slightly older version installed on a staging site and the search also broke after the upgrade to WooCommerce 2.6. Stupidly I thought this would not happen on my live site as there were some differences between the two :-(. That will teach me a lesson.

Thanks Mike, I would appreciate that.

Hey everyone following this thread. We have a confirmed bug in the Product Search extension. We’re currently on version 1.4.3. We hope to find the extent of the bug, make the update, test the update, and release it by late next week.

If you see an update next week please update. ??

For right now I suggest disabling the plugin as when anyone searches you’ll get no-results.

Great news, thanks to you and Mike for the quick response on this.

Thank you, please update your support staff with this information as I was told that it was a problem on my end and that there was no issue with the plugin at all. This was even after providing admin access for them and all requested information, therefore leading me to have to seek other options.
