Just installed this plugin and unable to use it as I am seeing this error:

This page didn’t load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.

This is on a pretty new install with only iThemes Security, Contact Form 7, Contact Form 7 ReCAPTCHA installed.

    Any suggestions?

Hi, you can see the error here https://caestt.com/wp/
    Look at the footer area.
    Thanks!

I’m getting exactly the same error as DDHORAY. My site is not public yet. I’m developing it locally. The strange thing is that the map was displaying fine in the event Event Location Details section of the event editor until I had to actually edit the event. Now it is blank with a map pin. But the site display of the published event displays the same error message:

    Oops! Something went wrong.
This page didn’t load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.

Unless this is fixed quickly, I’ll have to find another event calendar because I can’t put this in front of the client.

So apparently Google has updated their API and as such all plugins that haven’t yet updated their code will result in this error.
If you cannot wait for the plugin developers to update the code, a simple IFRAME embed will work.

    Dear users,

The plugin is already updated. Please download the latest version, obtain the key and fill that out in Settings option. Thank you.

I created a Google Maps API key for browsers and added it to the Settings. A map pin displays when the page is previewed but there are no details. Or its way too “zoomed in” on the location–I can’t figure out which. When I click on the map to open a Google Map page, I get the same “Oops” message.

Could you provide a sample of an embedded iFrame that I can use to bypass your map for now?

Also, is it possible to configure the Event Display page to position the Description text ahead of the Event Details?
