• I just did the latest update for WordPress and now when I go to my URL, it is trying to create a new wp-config.php file. I don’t want to create a new wp-config.php file and lose my site (everything still exists when I’m in my dashboard).

    Can anyone please help!

    Is your wp-config.php still there?

I believe so, in the database!? To be honest I’m not entirely sure.

    no, it’s a file called wp-config.php

exactly what are you seeing when you try to login?

Log in to your hosted site. Use the site manager provided by your host to check your wp-config.php file.

When I log in, I can see my WordPress Dashboard. All of my pages are there, with all content. However, when I go to the URL for my website, it is as if it is trying to create a new wp-config.php file, asking me to provide the Database name, username, pw, local host etc.
