Waze button doesn't show if Waze isn't installed in a mobile phone.

Hello

The plugin works great. However, when a person that has a smartphone and doesn’t have the Waze App, the button doesn’t appear.

So instead of not showing it, maybe you show it and once clicked it takes you to the app store to download it? (Like the normal behavior)
