  • Hi @petegarner,

Thanks for reaching out–sorry to hear you’re having some trouble here! Can you clarify a bit as to what issues you’re experiencing with the appearance of your events? Are you looking to make changes to your calendar’s layout or your theme? Any details you can provide will help us to point you in the right direction!

    Thank you!

    Hi Caroline,

Pete, please correct me if I”m wrong, but I think his question (mine, too) is” How does one add “Events” to a menu (say the main navigation)?

It doesn’t appear as an option when building a menu in the Appearance section of WP.

There must be some easy way of doing this that a newbie like just can’t seem to figure out.

    Thanks for your help!

    Stuart

    Hey Pete,

I hope you’re still following this thread cause I think I’ve figured this out.

Here are the steps I took:
    1) Create a new page titled “Events.: (pages>>add new page)
    2) Go to Appearance>>menus
    3) The “Events” page you just created should now appear in the list of pages
    4) Click that and put it in any menu you want (I put mine in the Main Navigation).

    I hope this helps you!

    Best regards,
    Stuart

    Hey folks,

Stuart, that is correct and will certainly work.

Another, slightly easier, way to do it is to use the Custom Links option in Appearance > Menus and then using that to link directly to /events.

    Cheers!
    Geoff
