Media Lib shows files as resized but FTP shows actual file still large

I ran the bulk program on my media library and for the first half it worked great. Then it got hung up on one file so I unchecked that file and restarted it. But from then on even though the program looked like it ran the same on the second half, when i checked via FTP in the uploads folder the file sizes hadn’t changed at all even though in the media library the size reported was much much smaller (i.e. already resized). Now I can’t get imsanity to run on those files anymore as in some database table the sizes are smaller than they actually are. So, Is there any way to get imsanity to run on the files that still need to be resized?? Or, to update the table with the actual sizes? Thank you in advance.
