Invalid Google Credentials

    Hi,

    In OneSignal App Settings, I receive the following error under Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox:

    Invalid Google Credentials
    Google returned a 401 Unauthorized error. Your Google Server API Key is entered incorrectly, not enabled for Google Cloud Messaging, or access-restricted by IP.

    This error occurred 1 time, last occurring half a minute ago.

    Help me fix this

    OneSignal is working on my site steve.doig.com.au.

    Why does the error still exist?

  • Hi,

    This error probably occurs if you pasted (or incorrectly typed in) the Google Server API Key into our dashboard’s platform settings.

    With this error, you may still be able to subscribe users on your site, but you won’t be able to send any push notifications. You’ll have to first fix the error in order to successfully delivery push notifications.
