[Plugin: Register Plus] Enhancement: email verification?

Hello,

This seems like a great plugin indeed. Has it been considered to add an email verification system to it? The idea being to prevent users registering with bogus emails, so that when they sign up as a new account, they will receive an email with a link such as https://www.example.org/verify/0954096358999997+0 and only when they hit that will they be able to use their account?
I’m currently using the “New user Email Setup” plugin since that’s the closest I’ve been able to find to this functionality, but that plugin doesn’t work together with this one..
