  • I’m interested too.
For example, look on top of this site:
First page is Home, that’s a static page.
The fifth menu item name is Blog.
    How can I achieve this?

I looked days for the solution, but it’s simple:
Create an empty page, let’s call it “News”.
Create a homepage, call it ‘Home’ or ‘welcome’.
Now go to admin options read and choose a ‘Static page’:
    1. Starting page is ‘Welcome’
    2. Blogpage is ‘News’.

That’s it. And in the adminstration of your pages you can change the order.

ke ? an empty page called news becomes your rolling blogpage ?

OK I can’t believe how thick I was being.

There are 2 settings, one for the front page – make this a wordpress page that you have populated with your landing page content.

The second is for a “Posts page: “. Create any old empty page using the wordpress editor. I created a totally empty page called “blog”. Select this – voila – you have a blog URL and a CMS for a web site.

Here is a screengrab – so you don’t have to be as thick as I was.
