    Good evening everyone,
    I wanted to ask a little help / advice.
    I own a website created in wordpress and I set as a homepage displaying the latest articles.
    I tried to set my Meta description through the Yoast SEO plugin panel to “Titles and Metadata”.
    I also added the description that I would like famished on Google even in the header.php theme of my files, but I’m going crazy and I do not understand what the problem because tick entirely different stuff …
    Would you give me a hand to understand where should I modify?

    We know this can be confusing at first.

    You have multiple meta descriptions. Please remove the one you manually entered in the header.php file.

    Google is showing one of the descriptions when you search specifically for your domain using site:weloveunict.it

    The search in the screenshot was for the word ‘weloveunict’. As this word does not appear in the meta description, Google manipulated the description to include the word. This video dissects how snippets work and how Google pulls from various parts of the page when they deem it necessary.
