Loading CSS asynchronously creates 500 Internal Server Error

    The plugin boosted my Google rating by 10 points, but when I used the setting to “Loading CSS asynchronously” for more speed, it broke the entire website, giving me a 500 error page.

    When I deactivated the “Loading CSS asynchronously” setting it fixed the error and all was fine and still keeping my 10 point speed increase.

    Why did this plugin break the site for that setting and what can I do to make that setting work?

    Hi, there are many factors that can break your site when trying to set up the “Loading CSS asynchronously” feature.

    For example, your theme or a plugin might not like to load the CSS files asynchronously. When using this feature you must be very careful and carry out some test. If you had a testing platform then that would help you carry out some tests without causing any break downs on your live site.

    In your case you will have to find out which CSS file breaks and you will have to exclude them by adding them to the following field Exclude styles from asynchronously option:
