Getting temporary Fatal error message when updating plugin
-
This is actually for the version 5.5.0, but that’s not in the drop down list.
I have multiple sites utilizing this plug in and for most of them so far, when I have updated the plugin, when I navigate to some pages, I get PHP errors.
This is the most common error I am getting:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method ITSEC_Core::get_storage_dir() in /wp-content/plugins/better-wp-security/core/class-itsec-setup.php on line 40Unfortunately, these websites cannot be down or display errors like this. In an attempt (which appears to be somewhat successful so far) I have saved the Permalink settings again as well as deactivate and reactivate the plugin after updating it. (Not real sure which does the trick, if either of them are doing it)
After some time (anywhere from a few to 10 minutes) the issue appears to get resolved.
