Select Embed Method

    Would there be an easy way to implement an option to either use the Getty Images URL to embed the image or to use the full embed code?

    The reason I ask is that it seems a lot of people are having the same issue as I am in that when I use the URL, the image doesn’t show up on the front end, just the URL (see image here)

    I’m not sure if this is down to theme support but having the ’embed code’ option would certainly be a way around this, if it’s possible.

    Hi Jimmy,

    Thanks for raising this question. We have implemented it this way because of limitations in the WordPress environment, so unfortunately we can’t provide the embed code as raw <div> code.

    You should still the image in Visual mode. The URL displays this only in Text mode, so let us know if you’re having problems seeing the image render in Visual mode.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply. OK, no worries about the embed code.

    I’m seeing the rendered image OK in visual mode using the plugin, but when I view the front-end of the site, it just shows the link and not the image.

    Is there some sort of setting/filter I need to add to enable support for this on the front end?

    I see. There’s nothing you should have to configure to make the image appear on the front-end. Can you provide more information about your setup so I can take that back to our engineering team for troubleshooting?

    Theme: Kickstart (child theme)
    Plugin version: 2.4.3
    Browser: Chrome Version 51.0.2704.84 (64-bit)
