Yesterday I tried to use this plugin (that seems to be the official one) and things didn’t go well. So I uninstalled and installed a non official Instant Articles plugin and it worked without any problem.
So, let me provide some feedback:
– The setup isn’t friendly. I still can’t understand why this plugin requires you to create a Facebook App while other just ask your Page ID.
– There is a lot of posts about the problems with Youtube Embed not being corrected sent to IA. I thin that we only have 2 or 3 scenarios of how WP writes the embed tag (mine is the one with div class=embed), it shouldn’t be that hard to you guys cover and figure this out. The transform rules you have don’t work and none of the custom transform rules I found worked. Shouldn’t be THAT hard for something build for WordPress, really.
– For some reason my IA list shows all the information correctly (image, title, description) but then I enter any article there is no main image.
I think that’s it. To sums up I just want to say that for an official plugin the experience was really frustrating
