    Hi there!

    Is there a way to deactivate loading the js library called by the tablepress plugin? I’m having trouble with displaying submenu items on my website. And i think i don’t need any js functions, just a pure html table.

    Following the faq of the plug in i noticed this error only on the page whre i insert the tableshortcode:

    TypeError: jQuery(…).tooltip is not a function
    <anonym>
    custom.js:27
    f.Callbacks/o()
    jquery-1.7.2.min.js:2
    f.Callbacks/p.fireWith()
    jquery-1.7.2.min.js:2
    f</<.ready()
    jquery-1.7.2.min.js:2
    f</B()

    Best regards

    Hi,

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    Yes, simply uncheck the “Use DataTables” checkbox on the table’s “Edit” screen.
    From that error message however, it appears that a different script can not be found. One reason for that could be that your theme is loading its own but outdated version of the jQuery JS library, which is very bad.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi,

    ok, that’s good to hear! ?? Just keep this jQuery issue in mind for the future, if you experience other JavaScript problems.

    And thanks for donating, I really appreciate it!

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

    P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!
