Not working properly on Fixed admin bar

    I tried my best to figure out why it’s not working properly on fixed admin bar BUT I couldn’t find solution.

    Problem:

    When the admin bar is set FIXED, the drop down search suggestion or result completely displace the place and show the drop down result in expanded page (expanded in the sense – making the page double of the original and showing in the extreme right)

    The problem is happening because I shifted the admin bar search module to the middle of the bar (instead of right position)..

    The place holder is fine and it remains where it’s being placed. The problem occurs when I search friends, it expands to double to the page width and shown the suggestions (drop down) in the expanded screen (than the original page width)..

    Please suggest me how to get it work in fixed admin bar, and the admin bar search is shifted to the center of the bar).. You may test yourself, and I’m sure you will face the same problem, because I tested with 2 other website. It shows the same result when THE ADMIN BAR IS FIXED and the default ADMIN BAR SEARCH OR BUDDYPRESS GLOBAL SEARCH shifted to left or center.

    James, Please let me know which theme you are using.

    it’s simple to fix , in plugin css you found class name “.bb-global-search-ac.ui-autocomplete” just delet “min-with” , and sorry for my bad english

    Hi thanks for the responses.

    It’s still not working.. I’m using theme from themify.. It works normally when the admin bar is not set to fixed position.

    Also, is there a way that this search plugin doesn’t overtake the search functionality of bbpress? I need to keep them separate. It seems BP global search is overlapping every other search plugins.. I need this plugin only for searching friends on bp, and the others like bbpress, search to it’s own content.. I don’t want to see results together..
