    Hi,
Our optin forms work by using the Double Optin process whereas a confirmation email is sent to the subscriber’s email address for them to click the confirmation link before they are added to your Mailing list. For further information please see our documentation page link here: https://fatcatapps.com/optincat/docs/more-conversions

Unfortunately, our plugin does not store any information on the emails that have submitted to your form . All information is sent directly to your Email Marketing Provider (eg. Aweber, Mailchimp, etc…).

Thanks…this is working for me now. I think this not working was related to the plugins incompatibility with another plugin – when I disabled WP Super Cache, all issues I had with MailChimp Forms by Optin Cat were eliminated.

Though I’d love to figure out what I can adjust to be able to use WP Super Cache again.

    Thanks!

I would recommend trying other caching plugins such as W3 Total Cache or more specific caching plugins like EWWWW Image Optimizer for image loading speed optimization if that is something that would work for you.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks. Are you aware of any other folks who have had compatibility issues with WP Super Cache? I’m concerned switching to W3 Total Cache may cause the same problem…meaning it may be a caching issue in general?

Hi I hope I can still join this thread, I have the same problem of the subscriber not getting added to the Mailchimp list. Have the API set up correctly and have the list selected. I tested it with my email and after getting the confirmation e-mail to subscribe to the list and clicking OK my email unfortunately doesn’t go to the list on the Mailchimp account?

I’m not using any cashing plugins, hope you can help resolve the issue.

    Best,
    Rya

    Hello There Guys

Sorry for the slow response here guys, we’ve definitely heard of this compatibility issue in the past and do recommend using some other caching plugins. W3 Total Cache or EWWWW Image Optimizer for image loading speed optimization are both great, and we have not heard reports of conflicts as of yet for those.

We are releasing a new version of OptinCat 1.6.0 (it is already available for those of you using AWeber)! I’m not sure if that will affect this issue or not, but I’ll check with our Developer and see.

Let us know if either of you still need help with this issue.

You can also contact us directly at fatcatapps.com/support, for a quicker response.

    Hello Everyone,

Just going through some inactive threads.

I’m hoping your issues have been resolved by swithing caching plugins since we have not heard back from you!

If not we’ve released a new version, so try that out if your still having any problems. Our initial testing suggests we even get along with WP super Cache now as well.

So I’ll mark this thread as resolved, but remember you can always contact us directly at fatcatapps.com/support/ for assistance.

    Regards,
