• I was told to create a child theme and add some code into the “functions.php” but I am not sure I understand what that means. Do I need to download a child theme or do I need to create it? Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,

you need to create a child theme by yourself. I recommend you to follow this guide. Or you can create a child theme just by clicking using the One-Click Child Theme plugin.

    Hi,

if you have put all your custom CSS into “Customize > HappenStance General Settings > Custom CSS” in the original (parent) theme, just switch back to the parent theme and copy all the custom CSS into your child theme’s “style.css”.

    Hi,

your website seems to work correctly at this moment. If your problem continues, please post here the full content of your child theme’s “functions.php” so I could check it.
