    Update: this setting works on the default WP theme (twenty sixteen). Somehow my custom theme (https://handsomeweb.com/scouts) prevents this setting to work properly.

    Any idea?

    Thanks for writing us, but I think you should contact to your theme developers.

    For some reason they reject to include custom posts in post listing, they should have an answer to your inquiry.

    Thank you for the reply Sona, the issues is this theme is not even in the WP repo. It is free and unsupported.

    I tried to call the handsomeweb several times but they did not return my call.

    Where and how do I look further on this issue?
