• Hello everybody! I really need your help.

I recently started hosting my own www.remarpro.com blog
    https://www.silverstories.dk

and recently my pictures started not showing in my blog posts…. When I go to media to re-add them, they are still there (in media) and I am able to put them back in the blog post but then they disappear again. If you go on my blog you will see it happening in all my posts…. It is really bothering me and since I am a blog noob I have no idea how to fix it, so I really hope for your help!

    All the best,
    Caroline

    a few suggestions:
1-have you tried using one of the default themes like twenty sixteen?
    2-which plugins are installed?
3-are your images very high resolution?

Hi, thank you so much for your help!

    1. I already have installed my own theme that I bought on Etsy through bloom blog shop.
    2. Akismet, Content views, google analytics, Huge IT slider, Instagram slider widget, Jetpack by WordPress.com, JPG Image Quality, Popular Widget, Recent Post Widget Thumbnail, Recent Post Widget Extended, Simple Social Icons, WordPress Importer, WP Google Fonts, Yoast SEO.

Futhermore I turned off the photon setting in Jetpack, because without that my pictures on the blog turn into really bad quality!

    3. Some of them are iphone and not even those are showing. The other ones are taken with a Fuji. The highest resolution ones (from a photographer) are still all showing, so that is weird. https://silverstories.dk/2016/05/20/beauty-is-fleeting-cherry-trees-love/

    Thank you so much!

1- if you are using any plugins to manage the images, i would ask in each the plugin support area(s) for assistance–see if others are having similar issue.

2- i would recommend trying one of the default themes to see if the problem is theme related. volunteers on the forum don’t have access to themes purchased outside of the www.remarpro.com theme repository. ask the theme author if others have similar issue.

    Thank you again.
I already wrote the theme author and hopefully she might know what is causing the problem.

I am scared if I try one of the default themes that it will reset all the stuff I have done for my new theme (sidebar, places of plugins).

ok, then wait to hear back from the author of theme.
after you confirm it is or is not an issue connected to the theme, you can start checking on your plugins.

create a backup of your website files and database. there are several tools that can help or you an ask your webhost for assistance if they have a tool available or you can make a backup yourself.
