Single event page shown as post not as page

    I have a problem where my single event pages are not shown correctly. I have set the display setting in: events – setting – pages – event pages to page (instead of post). But it looks like the event is still shown as a post. There is a large white bar on the left of the event description. On a normal post this is where the author and date etc. would be shown. I would like the bar to disappear, so that the event description and title are aligned left, like normal pages.

    Could it be that there is a problem with the page/post setting in the current release?

    you can try to wrapped the single events page format under Events > Settings > Formatting > Events > Single event page format in a div then use custom css styling to adjust the width.
