Valid API Key not working

Hi there,
how do I insert the API Key correctly, to get displayed the weather?
I have generated a valid API Call on openweathermaps (like this:
https://api.openweathermap.org/data/2.5/forecast/city?id=XXXXXXX&APPID=76fc41b54da7de1cc7613366f23e1c91) and inserted this link into the Open Weather Map API key field (global settings).But it seems, the widget can’t read any information from the API Key.
