This site has over 250 posts. When you visit the homepage, you can navigate “Previous” then “Previous and Next” on subsequent pages to view other posts.

The problem is that after a certain amount of posts, I’m getting a page not found error when hitting “previous” until about page 41, then page 42 says “oops that page can’t be found”.

Each day, new content is added, so this number will change with time, but somewhere around

If you keep hitting “Previous” or select a page number higher than 41 say, 100, you will get the error for page not found.

I tried changing the permalink settings and nothing changed.

Since there are hundreds of posts, I would like to allow the user to hit “previous” until they can see all posts.

    Any suggestions on the problem?

    Thank you for any advice.

In case anyone else runs into this problem:

Since I had custom loops calling 6 results for archives, categories and search results at a time and only 1 result for blog posts this was causing an issue with the customizer amount of posts to display.

That number needs to match your custom number of 6, not 1.

    Resolved.
