Are images triggerd within NextGen Gallery?

Is there a chance that NextGen saves its images in a directory that is not in the watched directories list in the plugin settings page?

If this is not the case, could you point me to such a page in your website, so I could check it out?

Correct, the next gen gallery puts all its images in the wp-content/gallery folder instead of the usual uploads folder.

I now have added this to the settings Watched directories and opened some images and YESSS they start to be added in the cache folder!

Well, so far, for security and coherence reasons it is up to the admin to set up these directories. We do have the most common ones already there by default. But you do have to add the rest manually! ??

Yes, our messages must have crossed, I figured out I can add it myself, and now I can see them being added. cool!

Hello, Annie,

Well, I am sorry to say that we have chosen to not automate this for the reasons I mentioned earlier: a) security, b) coherence and c) we do put the most common ones by default.

We will keep an eye on this from now on, though, to see if it is requested by more users!
