Does anyone know why the posts, pages and images have all suddenly disappeared.

The myphpAdmin isn’t showing overflow. I have disabled all the plugins and widgets. The pages did not show up. Although the page count on the categories is showing correctly.

Please your help will be appreciated.

  • Hi olotu. Sounds like maybe a database issue. Here are a couple of ways to do a database repair: https://www.maketecheasier.com/fix-corrupted-wordpress-database-2/. You might also check with your host and see if there’s a problem on your server. They may also be able to run a repair on your database tables.

Thank you, bdbrown. It was a database issue. I did a repair as you suggested and it was fine. The host company says it is a plugin that is causing it, but they can’t pinpoint which plugin it is.

Glad you got it fixed. If you don’t have any further questions on this topic please mark it as Resolved. Thanks.

Hi bdbrown. I was waiting to see if repairing the database is a permanent solution. It wasn’t! It happened again. So I had to go into phpMyAdmin (CP pane) and repair lines that show data overflow (in the “overhead”). That appears to solve it permanently.
