I tried changing the page slug and the achievement slug, but neither worked.

I tried changing the required steps, but that didn’t work either.

I tried creating another badge for the same achievement type, and that one also 404ed.

But when I created a badge for a different achievement type, it was fine.

So I think it has something to do with the achievement type. I tried unchecking all the boxes on the achievement type settings. (They were all checked). But it still 404s. So not sure what else to do. So weird.

I created a clone with a new achievement type and that seems to have worked.

I guess I could have sent this all as one message. But it’s probably more readable this way.

    THE SAGA CONTINUES!

I renamed the newly created clone achievement “Courses” which was what the original funky achievement type was named. (This achievement is for a learndash course.)

So I guess it’s an issue with the name “courses.” Interesting thought that even changing the name doesn’t fix it.

When I first created the the achievement / achievement type, it was taking the same url/slug as the actual course, so when people went to the course they just saw the badgeos page rather than the course.

So that seems to be the issue.

Not sure if this better for you or for buddyboss who created the badgeos for learndash plugin (right?).
