    Hi,

I’m using the Avada theme, and there is a feature in Avada where when a page or article is too long to fit the screen, when you scroll down the top menu remains sticky, which means it remains on top of the screen when you scroll down.

BUT if the article is not long enough for the need of sticky menus without the embedded PDF, and IS long enough with the embedded PDF, there is no sticky menus anymore, like if the theme don’t consider the page needs sticky menus.

I guess the theme considers the text shortcode to determine if sticky menus are needed, and not the content once the embedded pdf is displayed.

So, is there a workaround for that? Is this a theme issue? A plugin issue? A bit of both?

    Thanks

  • Thank you for posting!

It does sound to me that the Theme authors would be in the best position to understand how their estimation of page height works. My guess is that they measure the initial page height, but the PDF embedder of course changes the height afterwards once the PDF is loaded in.

The theme authors may already know an easy workaround where you can specify a fixed or minimum height of the PDF embedder object so that it doesn’t change once loaded.

Either way, please could you send me an email so we can follow up more closely? You can also copy me in to any correspondence with Avada:
