Query on Google XML Sitemap Generator Plug-in

  • I installed and actived this plug-in on my blog.
    On the Option panel under XML-Sitemap section it always shows this error:

    Your sitemap (zipped) was last built on April 16, 2008 6:04 am.
    There was a problem while notifying Google. View result
    There was a problem while notifying MSN.com. View result
    There was a problem while notifying Ask.com. View result
    The building process took about 0.1 seconds to complete and used 7.5 MB of memory.
    If you changed something on your server or blog, you should rebuild the sitemap manually.
    If you encounter any problems with the build process you can use the debug function to get more information.

    Can anyone tellme what can I do to rectify it, please?

    Click the “View Result” and see what it says.

    Your host might simply not allow outgoing connections. Nothing you can do about that.

    Thanks mate.
    I clicked on the View Result it takes me to my blog’s 404 page Otto42. You still think my host could be the problem?

    i don’t have a directory with the same name as in the instructions – what should I do? the plug-in is not showing up in my WordPress plug-ins directory.
