    Hi,

    Recently when adding a new gallery to our client’s website we noticed that an incorrect watermark was showing up on the images. Instead of showing the image that we have specified as the watermark plain text is appearing in it’s place, we’ve added this gallery in the exact same way as previous galleries and so have no idea what is causing the issue. The NextGen plugin is up to date and no major changes were made to the website recently that could have caused the issue.

    We did a bit of investigation and found that there were a variety of fixes for this issue all of which we tried but without any success, does anyone have a reliable fix for this issue that we can use?

    Any input would be much appreciated ??

    @ruisukerii – just to confirm, are you using v2.1.43 of NextGEN Gallery? I also see you’ve made note that you’re running v4.4.3 rather than v4.5.2 of WordPress. Would you mind updating both and then reset your watermark to the image and try watermarking a new batch of images. Let me know if that helps. Not sure what browser you’re using, but try working in Google Chrome (without any browser extensions/plugins active, deactivate them temporarily).

    Hi Becky,

    We’ve attempted the changes that you mentioned on a dev domain but still without any luck. The browser that we’re using is Google chrome though we have checked with other browsers and the problem still persists.

    It’s probably just a simple fix but we’re a bit stumped at the moment!

    @ruisukerii – We have recently corrected an issue where the watermark settings might not actually be using the image although set (this should be in the next release of NextGEN Gallery).

    This is an intermittent issue on some site and sometimes can be corrected by saving the watermark using an image multiple times (twice is usually enough).

    Hi,

    We updated the NextGen gallery plugin but nothing seems to have changed the watermark still doesn’t the way it should.

    After the update we went through each of the online ‘fixes’ again to see if they would now help but we’re still stuck at square 1.

    Is there something that we’re missing that we need to do after the update to sort this issue out?
