From WordPress to Dropbox

    Is there any plugin or code, that allows upload files from WordPress site directly to my Dropbox account, without saving them on a host server. There are many plugins that allow this, like Ninja Forms but they store the file on host server first. The thing is that I`m using Hostgator as a host and the maximum server upload size is 64MB, which is too short for what I need, that is why I thought, about an option to upload bigger files directly to my dropbox account which has 1TB free space. The upload file would be somewhat between 100 and 400MB.

  • Unfortunately, there is not currently a plugin out there to do this that has been updated recently. There is this one, but it has not been updated in over 2 years.

    Also, the 64MB upload size is not a limit to how big the files can be. It is just a limit on uploading through a php script. The limit is in place so that users don’t hog server resources uploading massive files with a php script. It is likely that Dropbox will have similar limits!
