    Hi team

My Gravity form has a dropdown field for two payment methods – direct credit and credit card. I’ve got Confirmations set up with conditional logic to redirect differently for both methods – the DC one goes to a page and the CC one doesn’t, so it goes to the DPS payment gateway. However on Submit, regardless of what method is selected, the form goes to the DPS payment gateway. Gravity told me to contact you as it seems the PxPay plugin is ignoring the form’s conditional logic. Plugin version is 1.5.1. This has only started happening some time in the past month. Have tried deactivating all plugins and switching the theme to good ol’ Kubrick but it made no difference. Any idea what’s going on?

    G’day westiechick64,

This add-on doesn’t have conditional logic support for its feeds, so I don’t know what you’ve configured there. The add-on looks for a total amount to bill, and if there is one, it redirects the browser to the DPS PxPay payment page.

You can make the form support your Direct Credit option by showing different fields for the two options.

    • for Direct Credit, show a Number field for the payment amount
    • for Credit Card, show a Product field for the payment amount

Use conditional logic on those two fields to show each only when the appropriate option is selected. When the customer chooses Direct Credit, the amount they enter will not create a Product total amount and this add-on will not redirect the customer to DPS PxPay.

I’ll be giving the add-on a revamp later in the year, and conditional logic for feeds will be included in that work.

    cheers,
    Ross

Any further updates on adding in conditional logic for the plugin?

It would be good to have. It’s rather a blunt instrument at the moment.

We need the ability to allow users to pay via a direct deposit or credit card and your suggested solution isn’t feasible with a form with any sort of complexity.

    G’day Lee,

I’m close to releasing an upgraded free add-on, which uses the add-on framework and properly supports conditional logic. I had an unexpectedly busy December and January, so it’s been close to release for some weeks now. I hope to get it out very soon — needs a bit of serious testing, and some doco written for it.

If you like, you can try a beta version on a test site. Please don’t install this on a production site, as I still need to hit it with some more testing. Any feedback you can give would be appreciated.

This is pretty awesome. Thank you.

I’ll send you some more feedback as things progress.

    Cheers,
