    Hello,
I’ve been using Wordfence basic caching for the past few weeks and have had some repeating problems that seem to be related to caching. When this was first happening, the main theme stylesheet wouldn’t load. Plugin css worked (the page builder styles, for example), so the site was a mix of intact styles and raw html: Times New Roman fonts, blue links, widgets as bulleted lists. Fortunately that hasn’t happened (to my knowledge) for more than a week, but the new problem is that about 20% of the time now, images on the mega menu don’t load.

The temporary fix to all these problems has been deactivating and reactivating a random plugin (any plugin, so it’s not a plugin conflict, which I’d thought at first). I’d love to keep using WF as my caching plugin and am wondering if you can give me any guidance on these weird errors.

    Thanks!

    This is happening daily now.

    Hi stjennifer,

Is this happening on every page? Do you have the setting “Add hidden debugging data to the bottom of the HTML source of cached pages:” enabled? If not, enable it, then check the html source when this happens and see if you can find the Wordfence message at the bottom of the source code. Also, try clearing your Wordfence cache when it happens and see if that fixes the problem.

Let me know what you find out.
