• Hi,

I’m getting a lot of complaints from users about out contact form not working anymore. Sporadicly a message comes through, but 99% of all people get the orange border telling them to try to send it some other time. The content of the message does not make a difference. I’m using the latest version of the plugin. The previous version had the same problem..

I’ve read the documentation and validated all forms. The only complaint the validator has is the from field not matching the domain, as the to field is matching the domain, this is not a problem (actually, a correct test should check if either from or to is a mail address on the same domain and not only check the from field).

    – I’m not using any caching plugins
    – I don’t use any other spam fighting plugins like Akismet
    – I’m not using the comment blacklist (or allowing comments at all)

Other plugins in use: Captcha from BestWebSoft to protect the login page, Configure SMTP, CF7, CF7 to Database, Countdown Widget, Display Post Shortcode, Google Analytics, Google XML Sitemaps for qTranslate, PanoPress, qTranslate-X, Simple Facebook Connect, TablePress and WPTouch.

Is there any way I can see why the plugin marks the messages as spam? Or is there a way to disable this test? I rather have some spam filled in in my contact form than missing out on 99% of my valid mails (interesting to know is that some of the forms getting through through the form *are* actually spam).

Thanks for a great plugin, I really hope this a solvable problem, because I hate to move to another contact form plugin.

    Sander
