WP 4.5.2 – after update: backend OK, front end no show

  • Hi,

    Problem:
    After updating to WP 4.5.2, the backend looks OK, but only a forever-loading frontend (no matter which page). Single site, all previous updates worked fine.

    Tried so far, nothing helped:
    * deactivating all plugins
    * memory is set to 640MB
    * switched to a different (standard) theme

    Runs on OSX 10.11.5, MAMP Pro 3.5 (current one)

    What to do?
