• Hi this is one of the most powerful plugins I have ever used and stumbled upon it looking for something else… anyway…

the gallery option just blew me away as it allows my client to post multiple images from one post page, but what i need is some way to have 2 separate galleries on one post.

my client needs to add this from the same post so is there any way to either add another gallery on the same post or separate them by category…

maybe there’s some code to add in function file or something

    any help would be appreciated

Currently, multiple gallery fields are not supported. I use the gallery field quite a lot and have been improving it, but the main code is a couple years old and is somewhat limited. It could use an overall rewrite/update, but at the moment I don’t have the time to write and test it thoroughly. So, it might take a while to realize mutliple galleries in one post.

    An alternative might be:

    • Create a post type called gallery to separately manage galleries (one gallery field per post).
    • Then use something like Advanced Custom Fields to create a custom select field, that would allow posts to select one or more galleries from that post type.

Thanks for you response, but fortunately built into my theme was ACF (Advance Custom Fields Pro) and in there it has a built in Gallery so using that and your wonderful plugin has enabled me to create something for my client in 1 day where I thought it would have taken me a week

    So thanks!!
