• As the title explains I am receiving a 404 error on the Checkout page and account page of my newly created store. It works fine without Force SSL but then I don’t have security which defeats the purpose.

This instance of WordPress is installed on a sub-domain

    Main domain: zeezbeez.com
    Subdomain: shop.zeezbeez.com

    Problems pages: https://shop.zeezbeez.com/?page_id=6

  • We are in the process of building a new website(wp, using the Store Theme) and have had the same problem as thehoneyglow i.e receiving a 404 error on the Checkout page.We just installed WooCommerce Version 2.5.5
Can anyone out there please help us overcome this error.

It works fine without Force SSL but then I don't have security which defeats the purpose.

This means your server is not setup to use SSL/HTTPS. This is a hosting/server problem.

If you do get HTTPS enabled (when its setup, not before!), I’d recommend serving the entire site over HTTPS and not bothering with force SSL. You can just set the home/site URL of WordPress to the HTTPS version.
