• Hello! Thanks for reading my question. My website (motherwiselife.org) had the Genesis Responsive Slider until recently. It suddenly disappeared. As did the Genesis Featured Posts part of my homepage.

I have deactivated all plugins. I have reactivated them. The slider and featured post widgets appear in the widget area. I drag them to “Home Above Post” or some other area, and they do not appear.

I have no idea why they disappeared, or how to get them back.

My theme is a Genesis child theme. It was developed for me by an acquaintance who is no longer responding to my emails… I don’t know much about this stuff.

Can anyone help? Thank you kindly!

    Hi kalamitykristen.

It’s possible that your custom theme may be using a homepage template that doesn’t output the widgets where you expect.

You’re welcome to email me with login info if you’d like. I’m happy to take a quick look to try and pinpoint this for you: nick.cernis [at] copyblogger [dot] com

I”m having the same issue. Up until a few days ago Genesis Responsive Slider was working fine. There was a Genesis theme update so I don’t know if that has broken something. https://rmcc.bwwtest.com/

    I’d really appreciate some help.

    Thanks!

I’m having the same issue as well. The slider still appears on my home page on the web site, but the setting field to change the content is now gone. https://motocicletta.ca

    Any guidance would be great.
    Thanks!
