• In testing my page loading speed using the Pingdom tool, its telling me that “Resources with a “?” in the URL are not cached by some proxy caching servers” and then lists about 50+ resources with ?0bb2b4 at the end of each URL. They recommend to remove the query string ?0bb2b4 and encode the parameters into the URL to gain more speed.

    1. I like to know your thoughts on this
    2. how do I go about implementing their recommendation?

    Thanks you

  • Go into the browser cache settings and disable the setting regarding query strings.

Which one of the settings is that in the Browser Cache Settings? None are designated as query strings!

” Prevent caching of objects after settings change
Whenever settings are changed, a new query string will be generated and appended to objects allowing the new policy to be applied.”
