console error in wordpress website

  • I have installed wp and changed a theme. But i am getting an error in console:

    Uncaught Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: .navbar-nav li a[href^=#]

    This is mainly affecting as my mobile main menu is not working. any way I fix this error. or alternatively make my mobile menu workable.
