More a feature request then a support I think, but is there a way to exclude pages or posts from being members only. So for example a Sales page or indeed some teaser posts can be released to the world at large?

  • I’ll look into this for the next version. I’m planning on making it so you can make a category and/or a post/page Members Only and not the entire site.

I’ve set up an issue tracker, so if you have any feature requests or bugs to report please add them here: https://tracker.andrewhamilton.net

I am looking for a plugin that you can make certain posts for mmbers only while still using the feed key.
the members only plugin is great, especially the feed key feature, but in my case it should not protect the whole page ??

PLEASE implement this in your upcoming release, all the other plugins that could do something similar dont support a feed key and also have become obsolete with 2.5

This is something I want for my page aswell. If possible make the pages, post and what not at a member level basis?

Example, a page that can only be viewed by admin, another only for writers and so on…

Keep up the great work mate ??

Andrew, thanks for great plugin. But yes I also would like to be able to make most of the blog hidden and have certain pages visible to unregistered users. I’ve tried the WP Members plugin but this is too complicated and isn’t as good as your plugin. Happy to help with testing this feature.

If/when you get around to it …
I see some value in allowing Pages to be seen when not a member but not posts. This might allow people to see the site layout and for you to put a summary into the pages to act as teasers to attract registrations. It seems a lightweight way of handling a lot of the content management issues.
