Dashboard was working fine. I think when I imported a Typepad blog, the dashboard lost some summary information. I get this:

You have , contained within 19 categories and 43 tags.

The number of posts don’t show up. I can live without it, but I’d like to know how to fix it. Where do I look?

I have replaced the wp-admin and wp-includes folders as if I were upgrading and that did change what shows up on the dashboard to:

You have 1 page, contained within 19 categories and 57 tags.

So the posts are still missing. I just can’t seem to locate where the missing variable for posts is located.

    I solved another issue here:

and when I fixed all the not published items (which had to be done by hand), the dashboard was repaired as well!

I logged in after 3 months of not doing anything on my blog and now my dashboard is missing some navigation tabs. There is no tab to access “Manage” or “Design” or “Settings” or “Plugins” so I cannot access my Pages or the Stylesheet or my widgets, etc. Can someone provide me with a detailed description of how to fix it myself? wordpress instructions for dummies is appreciated.
    Thank you.
